It’s just dynamic when a friend of yours surprises you with a gift you didn’t expect. This happened to me today when Doctor Alan Range of the Jet Propuslor Laboratory in Glendale sent me an actual chart of the distance ShelvesBlog blog posts have traveled through space. Amazing, informative, incredible! Of course, when you type anything into the internet, high frequency carrier waves that are invisible to the naked eye take the information far into the cosmos. But only a special few have access to technology that can track these waves. And today that’s me! Thanks Alan! I think the perfect way to celebrate the fact that not only does ShelvesBlog have the most hits and ranking of any blog site pertaining to shelves, but we’ve gone the farthest into space: to review a floating wall shelf. It’s an inevitability that soon or later all home improvers must grapple with: there’s no better way to add functionality to your walls (without the use of a classic “bookcase”) than the wall shelf. The floating wall shelf. There’s no way around a wall shelf if you’re looking for the finest in wall shelves. And I hope this information makes in deep into space.

I love the durable look of this Floating Wall Shelf from StacksAndStacks.com. The look of custom shelving with those in-demand Architectural Elements built right in. And built of wood. It would be stating the obvious to say that these wall shelves add character and elegance to your home or office, but I’ll spell it out, as Toolmonger disagrees with my premise. The uses you’ll find for a 36″ shelf are legion; the versatility is unlimited — no — limited only by the limits of your imagination. Book, vases, everything, anything. I implore you to consider the Floating Wall Shelf in your hunt for the finest Wall Shelf. By all means, do your own research, but consider it nonetheless. You’ll be glad you did. And so on.

I was trying to count the number of ways a person could uses shelves in the home, while cleaning out my shelf library, and I was deep in thought. There are two concepts that trouble me, while giving me peace at the same time. ONE: the fact that there is an UNKNOWABLE number of ways to use shelves. TWO: the fact that if you begin cleaning and organizing, THERE IS ALWAYS MORE TO CLEAN. These two concepts share equal ground, and that ground is INFINITY. Infinity. It’s almost too hard a concept to wrap your mind around, a concept that would take an infinity to understand completely. But here we all are, trying to get by, everyday we go about organizing and finding new uses for shelves, while the great and all-consuming concept of INFINITY rests just out of sight. It’s always there. And it always will be. I’ll just have to accept that. But you know I won’t accept anything but the finest in shelves, and I’ve found just that at Stacks And Stacks.

Often I’ll find myself looking at blank wall, staring actually, for hours on end, wondering how I can improve on it. To improve on it without overdoing it, mind you, without killing what makes a bare wall attractive in the first place. As I was staring at my living room wall this afternoon, it struck me that the wall needs support, in the form of a glass shelf. Then it struck me that as a matter of fact, the GLASS SHELF would need support in the form of metal hangers, to remain a hanging shelf. Then it struck me that I need support in the form of psychiatric counseling. But first things first, I need to find a glass shelf to fit this wall.

Perfect. After looking at shelves designed for garages, some for laundry rooms, some for kitchens, and some for the closet, I found the perfect wall shelf at Stacks and Stacks. It’s called the Glass Shelf with Metal Support, and it’s going to really add some dynamic flair to the blank wall. And functionality. This Glass Shelf is available with a Brushed Nickel or Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish, but I wouldn’t be doing my job if I neglected to point you in the direction of the Brushed Nickel version; Oil Rubbed Bronze is not well-suited for wall hangings. The Glass Shelf may slip. So be careful, home improvers, and enjoy this Glass Shelf, and your new non-bare wall.

Many times friends, family, and long time readers of this blog will ask me if the information I post here, and the information that I give them in private shelf consultation, is historically accurate. Of course it is. Sadly there is no degree to be achieved in the category of shelf knowledge, or indeed, I would have it hanging here, in my private basement den. But there isn’t. What I lack in diploma, I make up for in pure information. And yes, it is historically correct. After discussions in Paris, the European powers and the Ottoman Empire ratified Cuza’s election, and the United Principalities officially became Romania in 1861. Almost immediately Cuza initiated a reform program. Encountering resistance from oligarchic boyars, the prince appealed to the masses and held a referendum that approved constitutional provisions giving him broad powers to implement his program. The government improved roads, founded the universities of Bucharest and Iasi, banned the use of Greek in churches and monasteries, and secularized monastic property. Cuza also signed an agrarian law that eliminated serfdom, tithes, and forced labor and allowed peasants to acquire land. Unfortunately, the new holdings were often too expensive for the peasants and too small to provide self-sufficiency; consequently the peasantry’s lot deteriorated. But that should never stop you from enjoying this Delightful 12 x 12 Floating Corner Shelf from Stacks And Stacks!

This amazing shelf allows you to make the most of wasted corners! Ideal! Ideal for showcasing treasures or storing essentials, giving you the mighty power to enhance any room with a look that is classic and enduring! It definitely allows the Corner Shelf to be a stylish and spacious addition to your decor, and you can feel free to use it throughout your home wherever a corner calls! It safe, holding up to 50 lbs, no studs needed. Afterward, animosity toward the prince united the leaders of Romania’s two political parties, the pro-German Conservatives, backed by the boyars and clergy, and the pro-French Liberals, who found support in the growing middle class and favored agrarian reform. All mounting hardware included, so no trips to the hardware store. And if you can tell me what that thing is with the flower in it, I’d be very grateful. And so on
