Modern, amazing, cutting-edge shelf design is so brand-new, I couldn’t find it for sale at Stacks and Stacks. Yet.

Wow, just look at that perfectly ROUND bookshelf! Devastatingly awesome, in both design and execution. Trust me, when I saw it in the German Shelving Magazine “Kazlooster-Shalven”, I had to have it all any price. Unfortunately it’s not yet available, as the design has yet to share the plans with his investors. You know the story: genius inventor, blah-blah, can’t handle “reality”, flies too close to the sun, yadda and such as. Who cares about this German fellows mental state, I just want to be able to purchase his creation. Ah, well. in the meantime, let me tell you about the Bookshelf - 2 Shelf from Stacks and Stacks. Prepare to be impressed.

It’s almost too good to be true: both strong steel exterior and shelf construction together with a solid fiberboard back, making these bookshelves the best value on the market today. Attractive, plastic snap-in radius corners make assembly easy and add to the overall strength of these bookcases. Shelves adjust at 1″ intervals during assembly. Generous 12″ deep shelves accommodate 3-ring binders and large publications. Shelf count includes fixed bottom of bookcase. You can choose printed steel in Medium Oak or baked enamel finishes in Black, Gray or Sand, if the spirit moves you. Comes in a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 shelf unit. Easy assembly with quick-lock fasteners, which make this a triumph for all of us. Perhaps one day we will see the perfectly round bookcase hit the market. And trust me, when we do, I let you know. And so on.

4 Walls = Unlimited Shelving Possibilites!

Walls! So boring! It’s the age-old dilemma — so many friends and neighbors have asked me exactly how to find the best type of wall shelf. Well, if we are going to take into account floating wall shelves as a category in our quest, or wooden wall shelves as well, then the solution is simple — surprise, it’s just that: a floating wall shelf. It’s an inevitability that soon or later all home improvement fans must grapple with: there’s no better way to add functionality to your walls (without the use of a classic “bookcase”) than the wall shelf. The floating wall shelf. There’s no way around a wall shelf if you’re looking for the finest in wall shelves. Some “experts” believe plastic or space-age polymer shelves are the way to go, for strength and style. I disagree, though I value the “expert” opinion. Wall shelves, specifically floating wall shelves, should be wood. Constructed of wood.

Not entirely unlike the look of this Floating Wall Shelf from StacksAndStacks.com. The look of custom shelving with those in-demand Architectural Elements built right in. And built of wood. It would be stating the obvious to say that these wall shelves add character and elegance to your home or office, but I’ll spell it out, because “experts” disagrees with my premise. The uses you’ll find for a 36″ shelf are legion; the versatility is unlimited — no — limited only by the limits of your imagination. Book, vases, everything, anything. I implore you to consider the Floating Wall Shelf in your hunt for the finest Wall Shelf. By all means, do your own research, but consider it nonetheless. You’ll be glad you did. And so on.

Shelves are for Organization, Shelves are Forever.

Now that my board games are secured, I was taking a good long look at my garage on a whole. I live my life at an exceptionally high level of organization and cleanliness, but, to be fair, this garage is a disgusting mess. A disaster. Way too many boxes (albeit color-coded and stacked according to contents), power tools and automotive canisters organized by weight, National Geographic Magazines, and an array of paint cans containing the entire spectrum of Dutch Boy colors (just in case I need them). With all of that going on, I’m going to need some powerful shelving to beat back the clutter. And I found a winner over at StacksAndStacks.com.

In the past I’ve covered the best in shelving categories for the home, from the Garage to the Closet, the Bookcase to the Kitchen, the Laundry Room to the Wall. But what I’ve found here is Industrial. The Industrial Duty 5 Shelf Storage Unit. It’s a powerhouse, a sturdy dynamo, and it’s ready-made to meet the needs my overstocked garage demands. For me, the garage; for you, perhaps the office or home, because the Industrial Duty 5 Shelf Storage Unit will do it’s duty anyplace you need it to serve. Like all good modern shelving units, this tough customer features sturdy steel posts and beams with smooth, rust-resistant baked-on enamel finish. And they the treat particle board shelves. They do. And you’ll want that in a shelving system. Untreated shelves are the bane of shelving professionals, and critics like me: they should be outlawed. It holds up to 2400 lbs, and it assembles easily with rubber mallet in 30 minutes. (Ever wonder how many things you could DIS-assemble with a rubber mallet, in half that time? Me neither.) And that’s all it took to get my garage back to manageable. The Industrial Duty 5 Shelf Storage Unit. Highly Recommended.

(I also found this terrific Free Standing 4-Bike Rack, but that’s another story.)

or post information about hanging a shelf.

The Heart is all that matters this Season,

it shines through rain, and snow, and fog.

It is the best we Humans have to offer.
